The Bunch is a ski crew you should know about. They're changing the way folks view professional skiing. The last three decades saw an explosion of independent projects, but those mostly split off into smaller factions of skiers which in turn lessoned the impact of the media created. But not The Bunch. They seem to be growing in numbers.
Sure, folks have opinions about their style, but their influence is undeniable. Say the word "swerve" in a lift line and watch eye brows raise for those in the know. The point of The Bunch is the way they ski makes skiing look approachable. And more fun. Isn't that the best way to effectively grow the sport? I don't need more weekend warrior, stressed out kooks in my life. I'd prefer more folks like The Bunch, enjoying their skiing on a ground level.
