Amie Engerbretson explores the enigma and beauty of life's in-betweens in 'Blue Hour'

People talk an awful lot about the peaks and valleys of life––triumphs and losses that define one’s journey. But what about in between them? Between phases, between highs, between storms, between turns. Often met with discomfort, life's middles actually have lots to offer us: pause, opportunity, merriment, growth.

Inspired by the enigma of in-betweens, skier and activist Amie Engerbretson teamed up with director Sophie Danison for her upcoming short film, “Blue Hour”.

"It offers a peek into my current mental space–a dive into my feels, if you will," says Engerbretson.

At just four-and-a-half minutes, "Blue Hour" is short, sweet, and exceptionally introspective, offering a timely reminder for us all. Check out the teaser trailer below.

"Blue Hour" premiers this Saturday in Jackson, WY with the #GirlWinterTour and kicks off on the @PowTownRevival tour this Sunday in SLC. Catch the full film on Atomic's YouTube on 12/11/24.
