Summit logs fascinate me. Not just because they tell us who’s been where we are, but because they inevitably add spice to life, a la this log from the summit of 13,852-foot Crystal Peak in the southern Tenmile Range. Seems the hike didn’t quite meet a certain someone’s expectations. And so began an entertaining, if largely anonymous, dialogue between peak baggers who will never meet each other.
